Welcome to episode 3 of The Small Business Marketing Report a bi-weekly audio podcast co-hosted by myself, Sean, and Robert Tyson of the Tyson Report. In each episode we look at the challenges facing small business and startups in the world of online marketing and social media.
Today it is all about Google+. Robert and myself are both advocates of the platform and it has some fantastic functionality under the bonnet(hood). It has now been listed as the second most popular social network behind Facebook and the the activity is certainly hotting up. With the new Communities section and ever developing Google Hangouts along with indications that is having an impact on search people are starting to get all excited.
“Within search results, information tied to verified online profiles will be ranked higher than content without such verification, which will result in most users naturally clicking on the top (verified) results. The true cost of remaining anonymous, then, might be irrelevance.”
So join us for what we think is an exciting discussion about one of social’s fastest growing platforms.
